Diversion is a concept of what the modern-day cycling club and race team could look like. It is the act of deviating from the everyday path and embracing the unexpected.

About the club.

Diversion was founded to be the kind of cycling community we wanted to be part of, but couldn't find. We started in 2023 as a weekly ride in Vancouver, and the weekly ride is still the heart of the club.

Adventure rides take the club further, across the Pacific Northwest. In May 2026, twenty-six riders spent a week riding in Mallorca, the club's first international trip.

Racing

Race team.

What started as members lining up at local races is now a dedicated race program. In 2026, 45 riders raced under the Diversion name across BC and US road and criterium events.

Next: dedicated Category 1 and 2 teams, and continued growth in women's racing.
