Privacy

Diversion is a volunteer-run ride and run club in Vancouver, B.C. and Boulder, Colorado. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

What we don't do

  • No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or cookies on this site.
  • No selling or sharing your details with sponsors or partners, including Enroute.
  • No email unless you asked for it. The interest list gets club, race-team and kit news only; every email has an unsubscribe link.

Where it's stored

Sign-ups are stored with Cloudflare, which runs this website. Cloudflare may process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Access is limited to club organisers, protected by sign-in.

If we order kit, we share only names and sizes with the kit maker, as needed to fill the order.

Interest-list emails are sent with Klaviyo, the email service Enroute uses. Your email, name, city and interests are stored there only to send those emails, and unsubscribing there removes you from them.

Kit purchases check out through Enroute's Shopify store. Your order and payment details go to Shopify and Enroute under their privacy policies; this site never sees them.

How long we keep it

  • Emergency contacts and measurements: deleted when the season ends.
  • Membership details: kept for the season, then deleted within 90 days unless you join again.
  • Photo removal requests: kept for 12 months so we can honour them.
  • Interest list: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and reviewed every season.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Email diversion@enroute.cc and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for B.C.
