Code of conduct

Shared roads, different reasons. Everyone who rides or runs with Diversion agrees to this.

On the road

• Follow the rules of the road. Stop at reds and stop signs. Single out when asked.
• Helmets always on rides. Front and rear lights from October to March.
• Call out hazards, hold your line, no sudden braking in the group.
• Ride leaders make the call on routes, regroups and weather. Their call stands.

With each other

• Everyone is welcome, whatever their pace, background, body or kit.
• No harassment, discrimination or unwanted attention, on rides or online.
• No-drop groups wait. If you're in a faster group, that's the deal you signed up for.
• Ask before photographing people. See the photo policy.

If something's wrong

Tell a ride leader, or email diversion@enroute.cc. Reports are handled confidentially by the organisers. Breaking this code can mean a warning, a break from club events, or removal from the club.
